Fearless war reporter found dead

Anna Politkovskaya, a prominent Russian journalist known as a fierce critic of the Kremlin's actions in Chechnya, has been found dead in Moscow. More from BBC

  2. Me..... What needs to be understood is that there is no "absolute freedom of expression". The famous saying: My freedom ends where yours begins, is so true. The extent of freedom varies; it's a reality we all need to accept.

    I am sure the Russian journalist was well aware of the possible consequences. We shouldn't lament at the "lack of freedom", instead we should applaud her courage of conviction, her ability to persevere inspite of odds. Not many can do that.
